PSYPACT — Explained
I mention throughout my website that I can see any client that lives in a PSYPACT state, and unless you’re a psychologist within PSYPACT, you probably don’t know much about what that means. I wanted to create a short guide here for anyone who wants to better understand PSYPACT and/or who wants to see if they’d be able to work with me based on the state they live in.
PSYPACT is a compact between multiple states aimed to increase the accessibility of telepsychology by allowing psychologists to practice virtually in states other than the one they are licensed in. For prospective clients — this means your search for virtual psychologists does not have to be limited to your home state. You have more options when choosing the perfect fit for you!
To see me, or any other psychologist that says they are within PSYCPACT, you just have to identify that you live in one of the PSYPACT states — that’s it! Then you can reach out and set up a time to meet.
